The WGTR01 conversion kit with fuse protection allows for the conversion of an existing luminaire with up to 8 tubes. It is easy to install and allows for re-approval of the luminaire to CSA standards without the need for a special inspection by a recognized agency and all associated costs. It allows for the conversion of 120-347V and dimmable tubes. The typical conversion time is usually 5 to 15 minutes per luminaire.

Figure 1 shows a conversion for all T5, T12, and T8 tubes with Rapid Start ballasts, where the connectors are always not shunted (the right side of the connector is not connected to the left side).
Figure 2 shows a conversion for T8 tubes with Instant Start ballasts where only one side of the connector needs to be changed if it is shunted (the right side is connected to the left side inside the connector).
Alternate sides are only connected in excessively hot locations to maximize heat dissipation from the tubes.

Example 1
Step 1: Disconnect the power
Step 2: Remove the ballast
Step 3: Connect the power supply as shown in Figure 1 or 2
Step 4: Affix the agency labels
Step 5: Restore power

Example 2
Please read the instructions of the CSA conversion kit carefully before starting.
1- Turn off the power, remove the acrylic cover, remove the fluorescent lamps, remove the ballast cover, remove the ballast, install the fuse directly between the power supply and the left and right sides of the same connector, and affix the specification labels for the protection fuse and the luminaire disconnect (Photo 1);
2- Close the electrical connection cover, affix the agency labels in English and French on the powered side only, and record the electrical circuit information (optional) (Photo 2);
3- Pull on the small lock and orient the tube pins in the desired direction, install the 120–347V tube with the tube label aligned with the certification label, and insert it into the powered connector first for added safety (Photo 3);
4- Reinstall the acrylic cover and restore power (Photo 4).
